About the Artist

Fidel has been tattooing since 1993, first learning the fundamentals of the art in Mexico and then beginning to tattoo professionally in Cozumel. Since then, he has been living and tattooing primarily in Winnipeg, Manitoba, as well as working as a guest artist in other cities.

Fidel puts heavy emphasis on helping each client find a design that will look perfect, both now and years down the road. Discouraging the use of pre-made 'flash' tattoos, Fidel either sketches unique designs or works closely with his clients to create a meaningful final artwork for every tattoo that leaves his chair.
